I mean, I have owned a lot of sterling silver jewelry, and even some gold necklaces in my life, but nothing else had the simplicity and elegance of design of this one. The sterling silver choker was simple, with nothing extraneous to it. It was made with a folding clasp in the middle, hanging from which was a deep opal, highly polished and shaped like a tear drop. The sides of it tapered gracefully, and fastened in the back by a small chain, which could be used to adjust it to necks of different sizes. But the sterling silver choker fit perfectly for me.
