I have just come to the realization that I do not know my own cell phone number. This is a very disturbing fact because I have had the same cell phone number for years. The other day, a friend of mine asked me for the number and I spouted a series of numbers as a knee jerk reaction to the request. Later that evening, my husband called me to tell me that my friend called his cell phone and he wanted to give me the message.

It did not occur to me that I had given my friend my husband’s cell phone number until it happened again. “Why does she keep calling you instead of me?” I asked.
